ah bah ouai , la c'est un fan art , mais vue que ca semble etre le prochain tournage d'arnie avec Unknown soldier et/ou triplets , ca va vite arriver les annonce officiel courant 2013 vue que la sortie est toujour prevue pour 2014 ( le script etant deja ecrit )

Arnold Schwarzenegger Talks BATMAN & ROBIN, SPIDER-MAN And TERMINATOR 5

Legendary action star Arnold Schwarzenegger talks here about whether or not he regrets taking on the role of 'Mr Freeze' in Batman & Robin, why he missed out on the role of 'Doctor Octopus' in James Cameron's Spider-Man and just how much he knows about Terminator 5.

"I don't regret it at all," Arnold Schwarzenegger told Empire Magazine (in a recent issue featuring a lengthy feature on his incredible career) when asked about his role as 'Mr Freeze' in the critically panned Batman & Robin. "I felt that the character was interesting and two movies before that one Joel Schumacher was at his height. So the decision-making process was not off. At the same time I was doing Eraser over there and Warner Bros. begged me to do the movie." So, looking back, does he have any regrets about agreeing to be a part of the comic book adaptation? "In most cases I don't regret the movies that failed or were not as good. It's always easy to be smug in hindsight, right?"

Batman & Robin was far from the only comic book movie that Arnie has been attached to star in. At one point, he very nearly ended up playing 'Doctor Octopus' in James Cameron's take on Spider-Man! "It never got there because he had a battle with the studio and they went in a different direction," he revealed before talk turned to whether or not his career comeback included a reprisal of his role as the Terminator. "I think producer Megan Ellison owns the rights to Terminator 16, or whatever it is. Yes, five. They have been trying to put a script together but I've not seen it, so I've no idea. There's nothing on the drawing board at this point. Nothing on the plan."

"I'm excited [about it] because I've been hyping the idea to Universal Studios for quite some time," Schwarzenegger said. "The important thing with the 'Conan' project is to make it into an A-movie that they treat it like a '300' or any of those great movies, rather than a B-movie where they hack a few heads off, a few limbs off and run around with a sword."

He went on to say that he wants to deliver a superior action film for the modern educated audiences who want to see smart and well-made action movies.

"The audience and the fans are very sophisticated. They've seen all the 'Spider-Man' and 'Superman' and 'Iron Man' [movies] and the 'Expendables' as regular action movies. They've seen it all," Schwarzenegger said. "So when they see a 'Conan' movie coming, they demand a spectacle. That's what we tried to do with 'Last Stand' — to give them the car chases, cars going 200 mph, racing through cornfields, crazy stuff you haven't seen before. You have to give them great entertainment."

Ça donne moins envie d'un coup.

bon alors arnie parle bcp de conan en promo en ce moment , le film est toujour green light avec universal , arnie dit que l'age de conan et forcement le sien joueront un grand role , que Conan est un peu Rouiller , le scenarist soutient ces promos et dit qu'il souhaite un conan qui doute , qui a du mal au debut a lever le glaive mais que c est la que sa force viendra pour un dernier challenge .

et way sera content car le scenarist dit qu il voit WETA bosser sur le film

sinon verhoven a repondu a une question d un journalist qui lui demande si il a ete approcher , il dit que non mais qu il est fan du perso , du film de milius et que si il aime le script et qu on lui propose il le fera

Article avec les interview du producteur de LEGEND OF CONAN qui se livre un peu plus , donc oui le script prendras bien en compte un "vieux" conan qui a un peut mal mais qui veut faire honeur a sa legend de guerrier ( et arnie bosse sur ce parralele avec sa propre carriere/vie ) , ils vont remettre l'epee d'origine mais aussi la fameuse double hache qui sera ici sa nouvelle arme de predilection , tout comme dans le comics .

Arnold se confie en detail sur le projet CRUSADE avec verhoeven qui a avorter a la fin des 90's :

It was all written and ready to go but then Paul started going crazy. We had the final meeting with the studio and we were all sitting at this boardroom table. They said, ‘So the budget is $100 million. That’s a lot of money. What kind of guarantees do you have that we will get it for 100 and it won’t go up to 130?’”

Verhoeven, not the world’s most temperate soul, used this inopportune time to protect his artistic rights. “He says, ‘What do you mean, ‘guarantees’?” booms Schwarzengger — Dutch doing Dutch. “There’s no such thing as guarantees! Guarantees don’t happen and if anyone promises you guarantees, they’re lying! We don’t even know that if you walk out of the building here you won’t get hit by a truck. There’s no guarantee that we’re going to make it ’til tomorrow! I cannot have control over God — I don’t even believe in God, why am I talking about God? But someone, nature, could just rain for three months and then what do we do? How can I give you a guarantee? This is ludicrous!’

“I kept kicking him under the table and trying to tell him to shut up while we’re ahead. But he just wouldn’t, and that was it. That was the end of that movie. Paul always tried to be honest, but you can be a little bit selective about when to be honest and when to just move on with the project. It was a shame.”

On ignore toujours qui sera choisi pour mettre en scène The Legend of Conan et on commençait à s’inquiéter de ne pas avoir de nouvelles du projet. Heureusement, en voilà ! Lisez plutôt…
« Nous travaillons sur le script avec l’équipe de Fast and Furious, ce qui est important en termes de pouvoir au sein d’Universal parce que la franchise a remporté un grand succès. Si quelqu’un sait comment en créer une, c’est bien eux, à savoir Chris Morgan et Jeff Kirschebaum, le vice-président du studio. Arnold est surexcité et nous tenons une très bonne histoire. Le rôle lui correspond parfaitement et il est impliqué à fond, avec la ferme intention de faire un bon Conan. Si tout va bien, on pourra en tourner deux autres, d’autant que Game of Thrones a prouvé qu’il y avait un regain d’intérêt pour la fantasy de la part du public. En termes de casting, on a pensé à Sven-Ole Thorsen (qui jouait l’un des sbires de Thulsa Doom dans Conan le barbare, NDLR)… Mais pour l’instant, on se concentre sur l’écriture. Il est important que le film ait un sens, qu’il ne soit pas ringard mais crédible. Aux yeux d’Arnold, il est en outre crucial que ce soit plus un hommage à l’original qu’un retour aux sources. Il importe de le respecter, mais pour de bonnes raisons. L’idée, c’est que l'histoire se passe après que Conan soit devenu roi, mais qu’autour de lui les gens se souviennent de ce qui a bâti sa légende et se disent : « Vous rappelez-vous de l’époque où Conan était un guerrier ? ». Il est alors temps pour lui de repartir sur le champ de bataille, d’autant que comme le suggère la narration dans le film de John Milius, il n’est pas exactement ravi d’être devenu souverain. Beaucoup de fans se demandent si le récit sera une manière pour lui de passer le flambeau à son fils, eh bien la réponse est non. Conan et le héros car c’est le film d’Arnold ! Pour ce qui est des effets spéciaux, ce sera beaucoup moins fantastique et plus réaliste que Le Seigneur des anneaux, il y aura moins de créatures et de monstres en CGI. Ce ne sera donc pas complètement de la fantasy, car ce qui différenciait Conan le barbare des autres films du genre, c’est son côté préhistorique, et nous tenons à ce qu’il soit présent tout en donnant beaucoup d’ampleur au spectacle. Donc, soyez rassurés : je vous assure à 100% que le film va se faire, d’autant que Jeff Kirschenbaum est un très grand fan de Conan ».
Ces déclarations, on les doit à Frederik Malmberg, le président de Paradox Entertainment, société co-productrice de The Legend of Conan. De quoi mettre en appétit les fans du Cimmérien !
